Default Roots blown 4th gen question about k member spacers

I was wondering if anyone was using or knew anyone using k member spacers for added engine clearance. I herd that 4th gen guys were using them to install magnuson chargers? I have a carb'd small block that I am trying to get some more hood clearance and access to work on engine and was wondering how cars drove after installing and how the drive shaft load angles ended up. I was thinking 1/2" spacers?

Thank you for any input.
Drew.

My car had 3/4" spacers on the K-member and after installing them I noticed no difference in driveability or driveshaft angle effects on the car. Steering reaction was same as before too. It went straight after letting of the sterring wheel, so I didn't notice any change in alignment or any issues with the alignment after putting the spacers on.

Awesome guys thank you. Did you not run any spacers under the trans cross member either?
