Default Hissing noise when I hit boost

If I am driving with the windows down and I WOT it, I can hear a hissing noise and sounds like it is coming from the diver side which is where my BOV is. Could it be the BOV is leaking under boost? Also I am running 5 lbs. Checks all the clamps and everything and all seems good. Thanks.

Where ie your wastegate at? Did you actually pressure test the piping?

It's probable the air being sucked into your compressor.

Could be. Either I have never noticed it or it has just started happening.

THis, and you cannot know if your piping is leaking without air testing it, lol. Calmps may look fine, but is not always the case.

i mustve went over all my clamps 10 times trying to find leak. They seemed perfect until i put 12lbs of air in my system. i found 4 leaks that couldve sworn were the best looking sealed joints on my setup.

do yourself a favor and airtest that system

If you had a leak, you'd be losing boost. If you are building the same boost as always, no leak.
