Default Guys logging pressure ratio

Quick question. I'm guessing that you just have a bung near the T flange with a mechanical boost gauge or a map sensor in order to do this? How does the exhaust pressure reading compare to doing the math of how much CO2 pressure you are applying to the back of the gate + spring rate? Is it close or not at all?
