maf failure under boost

Hey guys just curious to see if anyone else has run into my problem. This weekend I took a buddy for a ride, I rolled onto the throttle hard in 3rd gear with the trac control on and it started to spin a little, trac control kicked on causing a slight backfire. This in return split my slp mass in half.... anyone ever have this kind of issue?

Go to a speed density tune and remove traction control.....Problem solved!

I haven't seen an issue like that but the backfire is what split the maf....

If I busted a MAF I'd be looking at a bypass valve problem. When the throttle blade is closed the BPV is supposed to release all the pressure when the intake goes from boost to vacuum. You might have a bad BPV or a vacuum line leak. Good luck.

They makes braces for those SLP truck style mafs because they are known for breaking. Usually they break pretty clean and you can buy brace and put it back together again.
