2000-2002 Camaro v6 to v8

2000-2002 Camaro v6 to v8 i think the convs section is for LS to non LS cars, so i will try here-has anyone swapped a V6 to a V8 in the newer camaros-i found a 2001 V6, killer int/body, bad engine, was looking at building a twin turbo, something more modern to replace my LS/chevelle-i fig the wiring harness, ECU, even stuff like the tach in the dash might have to change
anyone done this-i have a spare 6.0 setup for boost i ran in the chevelle, and a few 4L80E's, so i have the basic engine package
what about frame mounts, are they the same

I'm helping a buddy with this swap right now.
Things I know to be needed so far.
V8 K-member,steering rack,steering shaft, power steering hoses, drive shaft, radiator,
air box lid and the plastic peace that mounts the radiator to the support and hold the air filter.
The V6 had a 5 speed and he's going back with a 6 speed with the V8.
He told me the other night that the clutch master cylinder was a different
part# between the 6 and 8, but it looks like the hose may work, I'll post on that
as we come to it.

i have a complete v8 k-member assy to do the conversion from v6 to v8.
comes with:
k-member,upper & lower control arms,wheel hubs,rack,steering shaft,sway bar, engine mounts, brake hard lines,
you will just need the powersteering pump & misc. bolts
$100.00 come pick it up. I'm about 1 1/2- 2hrs from you.(located in south jersey)
p.s. if i can find the rotos & calipers you can have them too.
