Default First pass in my t70 5.3 s10

Well i finally took my 5.3 s10 to the track friday and made one pass before i broke stuff lol. Ended up cracking my radiator and blew out an exhaust manifold gasket so i let out right after the 1/8th mile and peddled it a bit to the finish. I'm very happy with what it has done so far and hope it can dip into the low 10's or better with all the bugs worked out and some more boost... This pass was with a very soft launch (pretty much like leaving a stop light, no boost) and hit it hard after i was rolling.

set up is-
5.3 with 02 zo6 cam
MP t70 turbo
Turbosmart 38mm WG
Turbosmart 60mm BOV
cxracing A2A intercooler
th400 with a cheap 3800 stall
8.8 with 3.55's

heres the slip, this pass was with an 8psi spring (just running of the WG)

60'- 1.753
330'- 4.621
1/8- 7.027
MPH- 98.84
1000'- 9.455
1/4- 11.750
MPH- 100.76

What do you guys think it could go 1/4 mile on a good all out pass with a good launch with maybe some boost depending on what i can get it to foot brake too.

Lets hear your thoughts!

well, if you ran a 7.0, your good for a 11.0 pass....sat my car ran 7.09 8th, 11.04 1/4.

Fix your small bugs right now, launch with some boost and youll have an easy 10 sec pass with the current boost/tune.

How much does your vehicle weigh?

Havent had a chance to get thet truck to a scale but i would imagine it weighs around 2900-3200 (its cut up alot but i also added alot of weight with the cage, 8.8, turbo piping etc, its a rear mounted setup with the turbo in the bed so there is a decent ammount of piping.

Hoping i can atleast build a little boost on the launch and also want to up the boost to around 12-14. I really would like to see a low 10 sec pass and maybe even squeeze out a 9.99999. Dont know if its possible with this mild of a setup though.

if you have the suspension i dont see a problem with a real low 10, or that 9.9 with you setup with some more boost...just being able to launch with boost will make a big differece for you. Your cutting the same 60' that I am and your not launching with boost

Suspension isnt anything special right now, just on stock leafs with s10 specific traction bars then will have drag springs and CE 90-10's up front...
