What meth kit are you running
I dunno... if it worked so well the car would have driven home on it's own from the last one wouldn't it?
How'd that snow kit work out on Slinky's first motor? Hmmm. I don't have any Alkycontrol customers with hurt motors from intermittent or failed kits.
Isn't it kind of crazy to say that plastic lines with stab-in plastic industrial air line fittings are really better than braided hoses and brass fittings/nozzles? The rest of the kit from MAP sensor to controller can be argued the same...

At the shootout last year I filled my meth tank and noticed drips on the ground, I noticed it was comming from the factory w/w pump grommet so I shoved it down into the tank BLOCKING THE METH PICKUP on my practice pass. *I placed the pickup in this tank myself, not SNOW* No meth was able to be sprayed; and some valves in my cylinder heads tuliped as a result of the heat from being short on octane and possibly overall fueling requirement.
The engine had a stumble on the next fire up and I noticed / fixed the pickup problem. I then ran 3 passes over 156mph in a 3800# car and drove it off the track with the methanol again funcitonal.
I also drove it back to the hotel and the track the next day before determining exactly what had happened and deciding to not make the 6th straight trip between memphis and my house in VA.
2. Accidents happen. *see above* He failed to verify proper operation before use just like I did. Setting the tune up to rely on meth vs. use as an enhancement in a street car / pump gas situation I also do not advise.
3. Did I even make a comparison? If i did it would only read "I prefer the stainless diffusers Snow uses vs. the brass fixed orifice from A/K." They are both completely capable systems; However your brought up points are:
Snow does use lines that are lighter (plastic vs the steel lines), easier to size (snip the line to adjust length vs no), and easier to install (simple push in fittings vs. the threaded / taped fittings I hear some people have trouble with.
)DID I MENTION Snow has an average LS-specific True Street finish of 1.25?
I don't get a dime on the sale of Alkycontrol kits (and I don't sell them either). I'm just trying to recommend the kits that seem to be the most reliable over time and work consistently well.
