Kurt and Shawn are the two that made the most sense to me.
Not that I'm convinced of what to do when now.
The early spool really got my attention.

Most of what I've seen from other combos leads me to believe that it doesn't matter what you do in the 220 range or smaller.

The odd to me combo I've seen is a 383 sbc, blow through, afr 195, S480sx T6 1.1 87mm, starts to spool at 3K.
specs are 234/234 108 lsa HR.
Whole combo seems to rollover at 6500.

Hey, do you happen to have all the cam specs that were tried in your buddies 105 mm combo, any other coincident changes made, corresponding quarter mile times (with mph), and ambient conditions?

To this day, with all the people in the world claiming reverse-splits are better, I have NEVER seen actual consistent data proving this. I have seen data proving the opposite.

Mike,
g'day mate..
i know ''alittle'' of what andy had / has in that wicked quick turbo sbc...
Travis has also helped out on my camshaft program , in my junk too..
each engine needs its own specific cam timing events...

my combo required and performed better with reverse spilts, and so did andy's
its hard to say, one style fits all....

regards
