twin 38s or single 60 wastegate
I'm in the middle of doing a build and I'm goin to be running a single s475 around 15pounds I'm tryin to only build The kit once so I liked to buy everything right the first time. I can get two 38s for less then one 60 so like the title says what do u think ....

Yea I'm just running a cam only 6.0 as of now but next year if the money is there ill build it but for now i want to get the turbo setup done right, plus u can get new tial 38s for around 230 the 60s are high 500 if I remember right

Well the higher the boost(up to a point) the smaller the wastegate needs to be. If you want to run really low boost on a big turbo then you need a bigger wastegate to bypass the exhaust gas going to the turbo. If you were looking to run 5lbs on say my turbo(88mm) then youd need at least a 60 or twin 38s like I have. Z28cobrakiller ran a single 44 on his setup and, if I remember correctly, said he couldnt get boost under 11lbs..

ive got an s480 and a precision 46mm gate, with a 15lb spring in it i see about 14 on the gauge and 14.3 according to the computer, which seems about right with the ebay intercooler

I use a single 50 and i can get it down to the mid 3s on the spring referenced to the bottom port. I see no point to use twins unless you jsut had them already or got a smoking deal on them. go with the 60. hell a 50 will work fine in your case. plus packaging for twins will be much more difficult that a slightly larger single
