Would buying a wideband gauge and sending unit necessary?

Just going over some fuel things. This was what I was thinking. Run triple pumps.

The stock pump will be used for normal street driving and then run the twin Walboros after a certain throttle percentage or boost pressure.

Throw me other ideas if you will.

Another question is which fuel pressure regulator and should I run it before or after the injectors. Is that a stupid question? HAHA Ive seen a picture of a setup where it looked like the regulator was after the injectors. I never saw a benefit of this.

the regulator goes after the rails on a full return style setup, are you going to keep the factory line or run a new feed?

the regulator keeps a certain fuel pressure by staying shut till it reaches desired pressure, then bleeds off the excess fuel into the return line back to the tank. there is zero pressure in the return line.

Basically a new -8 feed line and converting the stock feed line to the new return line.

you can run triple pumps if youd like but its kind of absurd, you wont max out twin walbros till your well past your stated horsepower goals. run one walbro constantly (with the stock pump if you desire) and run the 2nd walbor on a hobbs switch, which has it turn on when the intake manifold sees a positive pressure, or "boost"

remove the stock regulator and run the new feed to a Y fitting, then to both rails, then the rails to the regulator inputs, then the return line out of the regulator back to the tank

A cardboard radiator...thats an interesting approach...

Yeah I think I'd just run 2 walbros, don't fool with trying to make the stocker work with those two. You still thinking 850 to the tires? With the smaller motor its going to be tougher. What heads/intake/cam are you going to run on the 347? How much boost are you planning on? I'd think the 8AN feed and stock feed as return is the best all around option and allows for more room to grow in the future.

Aeromotive/fuel lab have very decently priced adjustable fuel pressure regulators that are great quality.
