Yeah I know the car is light, but nobody complained when Parish did it in the fairmont. Of course I know it'd run slower if my setup was in a full weight fbody, but I did the rx7 because it was light and cheap. I have less than 10k dollars in my ENTIRE CAR, including the price of the car. Not many can say they run 8's for 10k and it's not like it's a crank it up for one pass, I've been beating the crap out of this car on the street.
10K?!?!? Wow, way to make half of us turbo guys look like dumbasses skinnys.

Jk, congrats on everything! Looks like E85 is definetly workin out for you.

Btw, I know this is the ET record for a stock bottom end LS engine with an AUTO, but does anyone know what the record is for a 6 speed?

I put the motor/tranny/etc in another car for now while I decide exactly what I want to do this the rx7 chassis. It'll be getting a complete mustang front suspension, lightened up, and possibly a funny car cage to make it 7.50 legal.

Why would you say that! I was there my wife offered to race you in a full weight p-1 convertible street car. You came out on a gutted trailer queen. If I remember right it wasn't that fast to need a trailer. I think it was just so half but put together. I came out to race with 2 flat tires! We got you air! You wanted to race the motorcycle of your choice there busas gsxr's r you pick a old worn out 250 ninja and you wanted to race for money. You called it chitown racing.

Wow congrats, thats very impressive. Did you use the L33 short block or long block? The only reason why I ask is b/c you said you used stock 5.3 heads, but the L33 uses the 04 Z06 castings.

It's the stock heads that are on the l33, they are 799 casting, not 243(z06) heads.
