1st full pass with the new setup 9.76 @ 146
Went to the track last night with the new setup. Made about 4 test 1/8th mile passes 2 of them I was just getting used to the trans brake then 1 full pass.
Went 9.76 @ 146 w/ a 1.56 short time.
I do not have much track experience at all so hopefully some seat time and suspension tweaks we can get the 60 down a little more it is pretty much a full weight car besides no ac, front & rear supports gone and abs box gone.
The car was completely out of fuel I am running E85 with stock fuel rails, stock lines, 83lb injectors which are maxed out to the moon, and 2 255 pumps. Starts leaning out around 15.5 lbs and it spiked to 16 and 17 I think at one point as we tried to squeak as much out as we could.
Huge thanks to my buddy MaxxMitchell on here. Added another 9 sec street car to his resume. He put a ton of hard work in this thing I told him I wanted to drive to the track make an easy 9 second pass and drive home it did just that
Next up fuel system and more boost

Cool, Im trying to do the same. I just got thru putting cam, timing chain, oil pump, and LS6 springs in my LQ4. Need to find the cash for the turbo, and injectors!

Circle D converter which we are walking through the converter big time. Gonna have to send it back this winter and I left on about 9-11lbs on the transbrake. This was my first time at the track with a transbrake car and a car of this caliber so it was mostly trial and just getting to make one full pass

Only things off the car are front and rear supports, AC is gone and ABS box. But weight of the turbo kit, turbo and exhaust I think makes it about where it was before the turbo setup. I'd guess full weight plus a little more. 347, gt-88, afr 225's, th400, 9"

i hope to do the same with the goat.. but i think with the thing being in the 3900# range and with the little tc76 i might have trouble...
i just got the tc76 to get it back on the road one day sooner.. will be goin to an 88 or so later..
whats it spool like on the 347 on the street.. still good driver? what converter you run?
