What turbo?
Well before i have even finished my turbo build I am starting to gather parts for my buddies car.
Car is a 02 with a forged 370, Speed Inc TU1 cam, 317's, T56, will be a 9" car, I have forward facing headers for it and will have a 3" merge pipe. I am looking for roughly 650-700 at the wheel. Car is mainly used for street use but will see the track also. Car will also have a Alky kit on it.
I was looking at quite a few different options TC78, PT88, S475 or a S480.
What about the Garrett GT-88?
What are your thoughts and why?

370 ci, manual trans , small cam, mostly for the steet? I would suggest something a little smaller that would spool faster and still surpass your goals by far. PT76GTS, GT42-76, TC76. Just mu opinion for the set up and goals you have.

I don't like where back pressure will end up with the slew of T4s on that 370. As far as setups that are on this board and known, MM talked about fighting back pressure on his setup with the PTE88 and 364 cubes. Think about Na$ty's car and the huge jump it made at Stenod going to a T6 88 on his 370-ish cube setup. That's a lot to cram in there without considerable work though.

Depends if you're doing T4 or T6 setup. If T4 you could run these any of these
Precision 76 / 78 / 80 HPS
Precision 88 Lots of power
Precision 4788 Even more!
Garrett 4276
Garrett 4580
GT-80 (forcedinductions) this might be T6?
Bullseye S380 Badass unit!
ST80 (forcedinductions)
Turbonetics TC 76 / 78 or get one with an upgraded race cover
Alot of options really

It seems you have made your choice, just curious, in your first post you say tc-78, pt-88 etc., you skipped right over t-78. Now I know the tc-78 is smaller than a t-78 and any of the BWs are pretty large as far as over all dimensions ( right? ) , wouldnt the t-78 be a good go between and leave a little more room to grow than a tc-78? The reason I ask is I bought a t-78 on an impulse kinda deal and thought it would work well for me and basically just want clarification that I have my sizing and tihnking here correct.
