Could I turbo my LSX Block
the issue is the block is bored to a 4.185 bore already and the crank i have is a 4.10 stroke
haven't ordered the pistons yet, could get the compression down to 9:59:1 if i do a dish piston with a -23cc dish
question is
are the cylinder walls to thin to handle boost?
would like to make around 800 rwhp if i go the turbo route.
I got the block used so couldn't do anything about the bore
Just found a kit at a good price and thought it like to make a little more power then just keeping N/A
It's a street car, not going to try to max out the car with power
But think it would be fun with 800-900 hp and tq

Lag wouldn't be bad since an 88 or 91 are your choices and you would end up dealing with an on the smaller side exhaust housing for that big of a cube motor. Cam choice would play a role in this too.
You might want to see if you can cut the t4 flange off and put a t6 on or get an adapter. My choice would be the first one. Then you can go with something a lil bit bigger to suit your engine and give you good spool with good top end power.
T6 91mm 454ci will work great even rearmount with the right cam and compresstion I'm sure you can get full boost under 3500rpm..
Here is T6 88mm on Little 383ci with M6 ZO6 I Remember Josh saying the car got full boost at 4000rpm on the street and made sick numbers
