Essentially that's what a LSA head is, minus better alloy, moderately better deck, and better valves. I think there's definitely a power increase to be had in the port design alone, and the added cr drop isn't a bad thing either if that's what you are looking for.
Pretty much yea. lol I didn't know the lsa's were basically l92's but with that being said, i know they make far better power n/a but wasn't sure if the would make better power in a FI application. And every little bit i can get under 10:1 makes me feel a little safer if you will running pump gas.

So what's the better option then.....ls9 head or lsa? Only the lsa has the wing in it right? I'm looking for my best as cast option right now. Thanks for the replies as well!

They both have the "wing". You get noteably better intake valves with the LS9 (Del West Titanium intake Valve), and bigger head stud holes(12mm vs 11mm). Other than that, they are twins best i can tell other than the LS9 being a 69cc chamber.

I went Ls9 for refrence, but either will work well!

What is everyone doing on the LS9 head with the larger 12mm head bolt hole when used in a 11mm head bolt block? machining the block for 12mm head studs?
