Is the plan to cut the radiator support and stand it up? Stock K member or aftermarket? Nice build.

Prices seem very competitive, any answer about the K member needing to be replaced?

Pictures with plugs and wires would be good for the headers. Also, you still working on the DP?

The lower radiator support is already cut and a 25x16x3 sealed radiator with a pressure tank is going to fit with the stock lt1 fans. Once I get the car back i will be posting more pictures of that setup. The car also has a umi crossmember.

Its very reasonable for a kit thats not going to fall part in a few years and made out of good stainless. When you get some free time just price out parts for the kit........

You guys can say anything you want but $1400 for manifolds is just ridiculous....I could maybe agree with the pricing if everything were JetHot coated or something like that but for stainless piping....I just think their is way to much mark up in the kit because it says Turbo on it....just my honest opinion....but like I said originally....good luck with these new kits...

I dont think that pricing is bad at all, go price out what you would have in materials to make the manifolds. I just ordered the material for my stainless manifolds and heres what i have in them, not to mention i get 15% discount at CM anyway, so thats about as cheap as it comes.

1 7/8 304 stainless tubing $400
1 7/8 to 3" stainless collector kit $175
2 stainless 3" v band kits $130 (race parts solutions v bands)
2 3/8" stainless cnc flanges $100

So you are looking at $800 in material to make them, probably $700 if you knew exact bends and what not to not have any extra, count the fab and weld time and theres not a whole lot to be made on top.

Even stainless works simple forward facing stainless headers that can use power steering or other accessories are over $1000 and they are cookie cutter manifolds.

So very fair pricing on a nice looking kit for sure.

And for people that think coating would add alot of cost and make them more reasonable, exterior coating(which is all i would have done on a turbo car, unless its fresh stainless and shop is very reputable) is probably $75ish for the manifolds and $75ish for the crossover. $50ish for the DP. Coating is relatively reasonable as long as its not stock cast manifolds which are at least $200 to get coated due to cleaning and blasting needed.

So your telling me that those shorty equivalent manifolds cost more to make than a long tube? Which are usually 1100 and lower in price....I just think it's pricey for a shorty style manifold.....plus your pricing isn't buying in bulk like a shop would do if they planned on mass producing them even with your discount....just saying....

Turbo kits aren't mass produced, not enough of a market, they are hand built in jigs. I live 20 minutes from Turbo Technology and spend a little bit of time in the shop. I watched them build a few headers, it's surprising what a slow process it is. How you mark and cut, trim, deburr each piece. Then when you take into account your paying a fabricator and you consider it's a business with overhead, it's not going to be cheap.

The prices are right in line with the Market. Dont be a hater because your not part of that market.

Just my 2 cents, but horsepower comes with a price...its not free. You need to take into consideration the time and effort it takes to build these setups. I know it sucks to drop that kind of money at once, but that's what it takes.

It's a badass price for that kit. Stainless, quality welds, and fixing one major problem with most other kits sold (oil drain issues). Keith, Shawn and his crew have spent a ton of time brainstorming, fabricating, making jigs, etc. This isn't a POS Chinese kit.

Also, I'm sure it comes with Shawn's assistance for any technical issues/questions. That's the biggest reason you'll pay more for this kit. People who are not only going to stand behind a quality product, but also be a great resource.
