procharger install help

Default procharger install help

i am installing a p1sc on my 99ls1 and have a few questions

1 do i need to do anything with my egr system

2 i am using a front mount intercooler and a mas air tune is there a certain distance i should put the mass air from the throttle body

3 do i need a treated intake air temp sensor and dos anyone have a part number

4 should i put the surge valve before or after the intercooler


i am sure their will be more things that i run into during my build any help with thees issue will be much appreciated

Im assuming your not using a kit...

that is correct i am using a p1sc with 6 rib pulley setup and a eBay front mount intercooler and a standerd procharger surge valve trying four 8 pounds

This older copy of the ProCharger installation manual will help you out.

I haven't noticed a difference in the placement of the maf.

Use the IAT Sensor SU107 for your front mount intercooler kit.

The preferred location for the bypass valve is before the intercooler, as it will keep heat out of the intercooler during part throttle use. This is not always possible, and you sometimes have to install the bypass valve after the intercooler. Bob
