Default crossover pipes?

Im going to make my crossover pipes 2.5". Im gonna run the drivers side around the front of the motor up to the t4 flange in the battery area. I want to merge the pass side into it 8" or so before the flange. Will merging the two crossovers this way choke up the flow at all. Not sure if it will be ok to merge two 2.5" pipes into one 2.5" pipe. not sure what I want to to do makes sense. thanks in advance

If your going to use 2.5" pipes, which I would use 2.25" in a street setup, I would merge them into a 3 or 3.5". My 2.5" crossover on my ODR car merges to a single 3.5" tube through a cone engineering collector. We make well over 1800hp through a 2.5" crossover tube.
