Lightbulb 2003 Z06 - Vortech/Superchips programming question

I am considering a Vortech for my 2003 Z06. I already have LS1 edit and have tuned my car NA (just long tubes/air intake).

With the Vortech, they include a Superchips programmer. Can I load this programming and then read it using LS1 edit to see what changes they're making and/or use their tables as a baseline for me to start tuning?

Alot of "Tuners" lock their programming so it can't be modified but you may be able to make changes to the SuperChips programming. I think they'll be able to answer this a little better for you unless someone here has done it.

Thanks, Tom. That was my concern. I didn't want to load up their programming and then not be able to modify it. I'd rather not pay for something that is useless to me.

If I find that is the case, can I order a Vortech kit for my '03 without the programmer?

That won't be a problem. You can save an additional $250. if you order the kit without the handheld.
