Spark Plug Question
Spark Plug Question On another forum the question was asked on what spark plug to run in our SC engines. I was always told NGK TR6's, and that's what I got.
Someone over there is saying he heard that you can get 20-40 more hp out of a copper plug since it runs cooler.
I really just don't see it or believe it. When I did a quick google search all I really found was that the coppers wear out in about a year. I thought the TR6's were a cooler running plug anyway.
Anyone have any insight on this? I mean if you can really get 40 more hp out of a plug, hell I may change em every year for that...

I just swapped from the TR6's to the BR7EF's and i swear my butt-o-meter felt the difference.... I had approx 2k street miles on the 6's and I changed them because i'm about to dyno with high boost next week and i've read this is a good plug to go with.... Last time i dyno'd, i was fighting kr so the 7's might have helped my kr issue. Best of luck.
