Default Mr Freeze meth injection??? Anyone use it?

I know this is on a ford website but the way it works seems so simple and so effective and the kit is only $189. Do any of our sponsors make a kit using the same idea. Why complicate things with elec motors when your own boost pressure can force the meth in?

One question, the instructions say to put the nozzle in the inlet of the turbo(where your air filter would be). Is that weird to anyone else?

That looks like a pretty cheesy kit. It uses the boost pressure to pressurize the tank an push the meth into the turbine inlet. Probably works, but you couldn't use it if you run an intercooler because it would puddle on the inlet side and sit in the tanks.

why on earth would u put meth in your exhaust??

and onto the real question at hand,

wouldnt this just not work for **** compared to the before the throttle body, lets think about this for a second.

what happens during compression?? im thinking heat gets created, kind of counterproductive???

furthermore, why would anyone want any kind fluid wrecking into there expensive *** compressor blades?? seems like over time, it would where away at the blades.
just my thoughts, plus

just get a real meth kit and put it before the throttle body like its supposed to go.

It doesn't go in the exhaust it would go on the air inlet side.

i understood that, seriously, like i said, why would you want to inject any kind of fluid into a set of blades thats spinning at 65000 or higher, over time, it would seem like it would wear on them.

It might seem like it but it isnt a problem. People have been doing it for three or four decades now on different setups and there is yet to be one person who says they had an erosion problem.

It "seems" like I am really handsome and I should get alot of women, see how that works?

i lost an engine in my gn due to meth pump failure and it really sucked. needless to say i check the pump every time i get in the car and i hate living in fear. however living with 10 less psi sucked more. so run the race gas or go big on your meth kit. just do it right . i am the first guy in line to weasle out of spending big coin but some areas just need more fiscal attention than others.

yeah but guys who preinject are also doin it at over 150psi too, not slobbering it in with boost pressure alone. that set-up is good for roots guys, not centri or turb guys! hitting the comp wheel with a fine atomized mist is tons different than hitting it with a wet spray barely pressureized

Why are you quoting me, I wasnt talking about this "slobbering" method, I was talking about the original generalization about it being bad any which way.

was agree'n with ya, but pointing out the successful guys preinjecting are doin it with high pressure, not with 20psi

Seems like a cool idea but it's not necessarily cheap...I'd go with a Devil's Own kit for $240 before I got that one for $190.

Yeah the dribble method doesnt seem so great. I inject alot into an 88mm turbo and it works great, but its a 150psi pump like your talking about.
