I'm kind of wondering about the radiator & intercooler being sandwhiched together that close. doesn't the heat from the radiator cause a raise in temps of intercooler? I'm sure with driving it doesnt affect much but I'm sure when you come to a stoplight that thing has gotta start coocking the intercooler.

please advise......

p.s. not picking on the build, its absolutely a georgous job !!!

Well I suppose if it idled at a stop for an extended time and the fans never turned on the intercooler would start to pick up heat from the radiator.

If stopped however it would not take long for the cooling fans to cycle and draw air through the intercooler/radiator. Any forward movement would produce enough ambient airflow to stop this from occuring as well.

Aside from that, if peak intercooler efficiency is not realized when the car is not moving, well, that is ok since the car is not moving.

In the end I don't think it will be a problem at all. I believe the car would run the same numbers at the track with the intercooler mounted where it is versus, say, if it was mounted in front of the bumper for example.
