Yea... I argued with the guy for months. He did insure the boxes and I even had UPS start an investigation on the missing parts. After the investigation was over, UPS suggested filing the insurance claim for the missing parts. UPS then sent the guy the insurance claim papers. When he found out that the sender of the packages, is the person that must file the insurance claim. He started blaming the situation on me saying I was the one trying to scam him for extra parts/money. He keep saying its in my hands...bla bla bla. Aways trying to avoiding the situation that he had to file the insurance claim. Then he stop communicating with me.

Pretty much the only thing I can do is take it to court. The trail would have to be held in FL. That makes it hard with me living in Seattle.

BTW
Thanks to all that have been helpfull!!! I apreciate it

Patrick....Well what do you know.

He knows exactly what went into a kit. There were no missing boxes. He scammed you.

Yes, he worked for Incon. He had access to a lot of incomplete kits after Incon went under. Guess you got one. Wonder if someone else paid in full for that one originally and got nothing.

Last I heard from him, he told me to go F myself on LS1.com, after I basically accused him of doing something like he did to you.

Hey MarkC
Yup...You know.
I remember you telling me not to buy it. I got a couple other emails from people saying not to buy the kit. But by that time. I had already sent the check.
That was the beginning of my paranoiya. After the packages were 1.5 weeks late. Then the guy sent me an email saying that he over insured the pakages.....just in case some parts got lost......
Thats when I knew for sure, I was probably going to get scammed.

I kept every single email I ever got from this guy.....Over 40 of them. I still have the email where he stated... Quote "I had both boxes insured for 4,000.00 each. I figured if something happened and one got lost, the other one would be useless without the other."

If you need to, get a lawyer to represent you in FL. Most of the time that's all you need. Of course that limits your ability to testify too. Blahhh.

Not an excuse for what he did. But Patrick got screwed over badly by Dave. Tom did also. They basically ran Incon Systems here in the states. Patrick obviously knew what he was doing to you but thought you would get your money from the insurance and he would get to keep the money you sent him. The whole Incon system thing pisses me off. Awesome product with two good guys at the time running things. Dave just didn't know how to run a business and could care less about his customers or employes.

Yes Patrick did work for Incon as did Tom Porter....as I recall Patrick was let go by Dave Inall when Incon was going under. It's funny that they still had parts left over to send/sell to you, yet not deliver them to people who PAID IN FULL for the kits?

Several installers had partial kits, I can't remember his name but the guy who installed ChevyNo1 kit in florida had partial several kits. They were trying to sell them as complete kits at extremely high prices even though they did not have CHRA's. Just Patrick got laid off but who is to say who sotry is correct. Tom had told me that they gave him several months notice, but who knows if thats true. It was bad situation all around. If Dave Inall would have charged the original price or slightly higher he still might be in business.
