Default need help on figuring out a FPR to buy

last part of fuel system i need to buy but there seems to be a million out there. Its gonna be after the rails so its gonna be a -8 inlet (perfer 2 inlets so i can run each fuel rail line into it and not Y-fitting before) and want a -8 return port to the tank. I can find a lot with a -6 return port but want a -8 to match my -8 return. Anyone make this specific model? Links would deff help so i can just buy it from a link and not have to find it or at least p/n's? Thanks

The MagnaFuel MP-9950-B says it has dual -8 in and out. Check it out.

You could run a #6 port outlet and run a #6 to #8 adapter in it. Lots of choices out there.

Yea I know a lot of people run a -8 fitting out of a -6 port but it's still gonna flow as much as a -6 hole will allow. Want the bigger port hole and have it all -8. May not matter but it's what I want. That MagnaFlow one is top of the list. My question is why 2 outlet ports?

nevermind, Summit must be jacked up on there info. On their site it says "x2 -8 return ports" but on Magnafuels site and Jegs it lists just 1 return port. Its the MP-9950-B that Hydro posted above.

Magnafuel above is the one I'm using.

Although I just exit the rails and into it via a single -6 line and return to tank via -6 line.

IMO no need for fancy Y's etc after the rails.

What sort of fuel flow do you need, or what pumps will you be using ?

The unit itself has 2 -8 ports for return from the rails ( high pressure ). And a single -8 outlet for return at low pressure to the tank.

Well I plan in using e85, so with needing more fuel then gas and buying this all new I want to do it right the first time around. It's a toss-up between the MagnaFlow and TurboSmart one.

Here's a list of how it will be set-up...

gonna be for about 700rwhp procharged on e85

: Speed Inc aluminum tank
: out with -10 to pre-filter
: A1000 pump to another filter
: then -10 to a y-block
: 2 -8's out of the Y into each rail
: 2 -8's out of each front rail into the regulator (MagnaFuel MP-9950-B)
: -8 returned to tank

I have 60lb injectors now but that MAY change depending on where i sit. Just makinf sure im not missing anything before i pull the trigger on it all. Everything will be bought BUT i already have the A1000 and 2 filters already

You are going to need atleast a 100 lb/hr injector to make it to 700 rwhp on e85. Esp using a a1000 that doesnt like high fuel pressures.

The Aeromotive regulators have 8AN threads. Just get an 8AN Oring to 8AN fitting, and youll be fine.

Well I'm not at 700 now, just be around 550 with my stock short block. But eventually shoot for 700+ after I get a short block built in the next few years. Eventually I'll change up the pump n injectors at that time but for now it should workout

-6 to both rails, from both rails, and return to tank is more than adequate.

For handyness I 90'd from one rail, passing the other rail on a tee, and then to one port of the regulator all in -6
It works just fine.

IMO having two lines from the rail, into a Y etc is great in theory, but its messy with hoses everywhere.

IMO, keep it simple.
