Worth switching?
5.3, L33, T60 on truck manifolds, 243 heads, 218 cam, LS1 intake.
Question: Is it worth switching out the LS1 intake to the LS6 I have sitting in the attic? Or should I sell it?

prob not, id sell it. Forced induction kind of overrides the gains cuz you can just turn it up a little. If you bracket or class race then put it on, otherwise, take teh 300 bucks and move on.
On an LS2/402 with AFR 225 heads and an ProCharger F-1A at the old shop, we swapped out an LS2 intake manifold for a FAST 92 and went from 809 rwhp to 864 rwhp with no other changes. Personally I would use the LS6 intake that you have sitting there. Bob

Bob is right, you will gain power by switching, maybe a lot maybe a little, but my point above is if your not trying to squeeze every last pony out of your setup then dont worry about it.
FWIW, FI applications tend to be a little more sensitive to stuff like intake changes, youll prob see it spool a little differently too

case in point, buddy has a Grand Prix turbo. he was using the supercharger case as his intake manifold, it was gutted and empty. when he switched to an intake manifold from a NA Grand Prix he gained power, saw full spool about 500rpms sooner and his 60 foots got a hair quicker.
