I'm not sure what oil pump Dustin used when he built your engine, it should be on your receipt if you still have it. I'm glad the pump was all it was! Bob

Thank God man! I've had 2 oil pumps go out on me. 1- the relief valve got stuck open and the 2- blew up...cracked the housing and everything. Both times I shut the motor down before anything happened...within 10-15 sec. Got pics of the pump?

Is that surface rust on the the front pump cover, and did the motor sit for quite a while after it was built?
