Default k member question

What aftermarket k members out there, if any, allow you to use solid mounts? I need to have solid mounts so that my downpipe doesn't melt the mount.

I think he was asking about the k member not the mounts. K member saves more like 20-25 lbs

most after market k members don't allow you to run a solid mount but the spohn k member does

Yea, I have the spohn solid mounts already on. I need to keep them. So if its the only one that lets you run them, then so be it.

Why did you switch to the turbo k member? Is there that much more room?

Replaces your stock rubber mounts and works with any aftermarket k-member that uses stock mounts

I had the spohn k member when I had the procharger on the car. No room to run a 4" down pipe with that k member. MUCH more room with the BMR turbo k member can easily run a 4" DP

I dont own an f-body, but the car I work on has one. What details are you looking for? It will clear a 5" downpipe on the passenger side no problem. You can see some pictures here.

This was the last prototype / first production piece. I saw pics of a recent once and there were a couple of small changes.

Midwest Chassis has a set of mounts that are similar. As far as I know they place the motor in the stock location. That is what we have on our car.

Nope, they place the motor in the same position as stock mounts. They are the same external dimensions, just solid

I don't see the k member or mounts on the site. Any link to pics and pricing?
