My ATI balancer was very easy to put on and pin with the kit supplied from Bob. the pass side will be easy the drivers side required alot of hose trimming to get it to fit just right. Put the surge valve on last to keep it outta the way while installing the air inlet. It would prooly alos be easyer to go ahead and put the plastic boot on the air filter and set it on top of the drivers side intercooler before the j-tube is installed so you dont have to cram the filter in there. Also if you put the extra spal 9" fan like i did then i had to keep the shroud lifted all the way up to get the blower mounted, then drop it back down afterward.

O and i found it easyer to do the drivers side tubing by working from the top down from the lid back to the intercooler. trimmed and connected the 3" to 2.5" reducer last that connected the j-tube to the I/C. also that 2.5" metal coupling needs to be put together and tightened before running it down under the fuse box. its really tight in that area. I popped the fuse box up and lifted it as much outta the way as i could for room to work.

also the blower belt will be f-ing tight. i thought i was gonna knock my car off the jackstands to get it on. you must use the crank bolt to spin the motor to get it on. dont even try it the way procharger tells you. I wasted several hrs trying it their way before giving up and calling bob. i was actually afraid i was gonna break the belt it was sooooooo tight.

i have the sdce tensioner and my blower belt is set at the #15 mark they said it should be at. however, the best isn't that tight. it is probably comparable to the stock serpentine belt. i am not sure if this is right or not....

I did not think my procharger install was hard at all. I had it done in one day. First time took about 10-12 hours. I could now do it all in about 1/4 of the time if I had to do it again.

i wouldnt call it hard just a pain in the rear. i kept running into stupid little issues. like alt not fitting. my installs done but i wont drive the car in new england weather(looking at 20 more inches of snow by wendsday) so i wont get it to the tuner till about april. gives me time to install a new clutch and meth kit.

thanks, yeah gotta let the pocket book cool off a while after that procharger kit. Hopefully the shortblock will hold on for a little while. I told mike to tune it safe vs max effort so we will see.

Nothing just slides right in with this thing.

that was ****** hilarious because itz true..haha.

One more thing is my single 255 pump and Hotwire kit would not keep up, fuel pressure was dropping under boost. Switched to Lonnie's duals and it's running great now. Lonnie's kit is top notch and easy install. Just waiting on some nice cool air to play at the track.

That is weird that you had fuel pressure problems with the 255 pump/Hotwire kit at 7.5 psi with your combination. I haven't ever seen that before, I'll bet you had either a bad pump or a clogged fuel filter, etc. Bob

ProCharger does not offer a 10 rib belt set-up. The Aster bracket is the best way to eliminate belt slippage problems, here is a link to it. http://shop.brutespeed.com/Aster-Aut...er-Bracket.htm Bob

I know it's an old thread, but everyone who wondered if they really needed to pin the crank, the answer is YES! You absolutely need to. I was lucky enough to find my bolt just loose and not gone and I only have a few blasts on the car.
