Default Garrett GT4708 Opinions on a 370 LQ4

Looking at this turbo for a 370 build with a mild turbo cam and ported 317 with a target compression ratio of 9.1-9.5. Looks like it a 80mm with a 1.08 T6 turbine housing, just looking for the pros and cons of this turbo getting close to 800-1000 RWHP.

The PT88 is smaller, cheaper, and will spool better than that turbo. While its a bad *** turbo for the power you are looking to make the pt88 will do the same and work better on the street.

Thanks but I just got down getting a great deal on a brand new S480 with a race cover and a divided T6 1.32 turbine.......couldn't pass it up.

If you are gonna run that s480 on the 370 you may want a smaller housing. That will take awhile to spool up....

I was thinking of when I build my kit to run each manifold tube seperate up to the housing like it's intended to be to affectivly use the divided housing.

Oh ya the kid fell though on your old turbo and decided to use it so I was able to find this one a Supraforum.com

Hell if a supra can run it, why not.
