Question Need FI help/advice!!

Hello:

Currently I have a 00 TA M6 with a built 408 6.0L iron block with forged pistons/rods/crank and stage 2 heads waiting to be installed sometime later this month. The pistons are 8.5:1 compression as I intend to go blown (..haven't ruled out turbo yet either). My question is the following, should I go with an F1 supercharger or the D1SC? ...and, will I be required to get the F.A.S.T. system (whatever that is??) along with upgraded fuel lines, ect. The car is my daily driver and I don't want to create a track only car, but a VERY fast somewhat reliable street rod. My current set up is a cammed stock block with a 150 NX kit that has netted me 525 rwhp on the juice. Now my goal is 650-700 rwhp.

Where do I go from here to meet my goals? Can I still maintain daily drivability? Thanks a million for your opinions as I have already dropped 10 grand on the long block and don't want to screw this up!

For that motor I would for sure get an F1 blower, get a front mount intercooler, COG pulleys probably aren't the best daily driver belt setup for a blower, but I'm using them now, others 8 ribs hold, but not many...if you really want to spend the $ on FAST go ahead, that will allow you to do whatever you want with the car.........if not you can set it up to run 15psi with some good gas and a good tune and make a lot of power..........FUEL is the key.......

For 700 rwhp, I'd say go with the F1. Are you planning on buying the standard kit and upgrading the head unit? Or are you planning on custom tubing and intercooling? The need for a FAST system sorta depends on how good you are at LS1edit and how on the edge you want to run. FAST system is an investment in safety. Personally I'm shooting for similar goals, only with the D1 and I eventually plan on FAST when the new motor goes in.

Sounds like you have a mean motor on your hands. Just waiting for a blower You're certainly are going about it in the right way. Good luck and if you have anymore questions fire away. there's some really knowledgable guys on this forum.
