keep the MPT 70, or go with TC76?
I've been in a truck with a mpt70 and it was instant spool with a 6.0. For the money it's hard to beat. If you want an easy to package, great power and decent spool then the tc76 is perfect. They are a few hundred more than the mpt unit but is worth it IMHO. I don't think you would be disappointed with either turbo......Unless you want to make more than 700hp, then the tc76 is the better choice.

i believe the bearing housing of the TC / T series turbos is different to the mid frame turbo bearing housing, that supports the 75mm shaft ... the largest turbine wheel the tc / t series will support is the F1-68.

Yes they can do a race cover for the TC series supposed to be good for an extra 120 hp airflow 3" outlet.
But your turbo has to go back to them to machine a backing plate to suit.
I'm pretty keen to get it done over our Winter, but havn't herd any real wourld results yet.....

well he did say in that thread that the upgrade is designed to sort of bridge the gap between the TC series and large frame turbos and also that they are made for 300 to 370 cube motors. So it prob would be for the 370 cube guys but the f168 is perfect for the 4.8, 5.3, and 5.7 guys. the 6.0 and 6.2's should prob just find a larger exhaust housing and be fine
