Best of luck, he is the most dishonest, poorly organized businessmen I have ever come across. If he is the guy I am thinking of, He was formerly of North Jersey Racing in Parsippany, which is rumored to have gone out of businees due to several issues with pending lawsuits and bad custmer service. Like I said......best of luck.

Thats just the beginning. He will tell you whatever you want to hear, promise you all kinds of goodies in your engine and deliver crap. He is known for charging for premium parts and delivering lower quality stuff. For instance, pay for (or supply) a forged crank and your engine ends up with a cast crank. As you found out, if you supply good stuff for you combo it ends up on his car (or one of his friends cars) and you get whatever is laying around his shop. Be warned.......Last time I heard he was operating under the name of Finish Line Performance in Jersey. Id also be VERY wary of anyone who says he is OK, like ap-engineering above.

Chevy Guy, not sure why you would be wary of a shop that just gave an opinion on a question that was asked. I have delt with him over the last 4 years and he has always paid his bills with me. I have also seen some of his work and it didn't look to shabby. The guy asked a questions and I gave my answer based on my dealings with him. Nothing more, nothing less. I don't think that you have to be wary about my shop for this.

The name sounded familiar...once someone said Finish Line, I knew who it was. I've talked to him before...seemed to dodge a few of my questions I asked about a product.
As for being wary of AP, that's not a fair thing to do. That'd be like me complaining about the crappy service I got from Ramchargers and saying stay away from all shops in Michigan.

Let Me just say I got the Motor
Did it take a over a year - Yes
Was it right - No
He has tried to make it right and did he Cheat me - No
But it took so long to get the motor that I had to change my plan's and not go with him on the Twin Turbo setup. I am going with TTI X
And the Quality of the work that was done was below par.
I Would Feel Perfectly Safe Buying Any Part from him But I would not let him do any work for me again

Sorry I couldnt warn you earlier. I hate to hear about others getting shortchanged by this fellow. His reputation preceeds him in Jersey for sure, so sadly he is having to branch out to other parts of the country. Do others a favor and let them know as well. If I may ask, what wasnt right about it and what was his excuse for not trying to make it right?
