Kurt, what was the tq number on that and boost number? We have another car other then the Camaro I have been talking to you about. It has a Jake's Performance reverse kit on it with a f1R. It is pullied 10:1 and makes some pretty good heat in the upper rpms. We made the first pass down the track a few weekends ago after fighting the BS3 feasco. 5.48@131 with no timing in it, off the trailer. Car oiled down track and didn't get a chance to make anymore passes and it has been to cold to go again. We are trying to make it max effort F1R a/w@3200lbs

It was 33psi and the tq was in the upper 1200 range as I recall. The engine is not really designed to run that low in the rpm band except at launch, but the ex issues won't let it rev up yet. I expect hp peak to happen between 78-8200 rpm when I get the ex issues figured out. That should put me between 38-42 psi when the rpm is right. Seems like most cent superchargers will tq peak 1000-1200 below peak hp, so I may not quite be there yet. Also not wanting to beat it to death we are running the timing in a conservative area I believe, with 11-13 degrees so far in the 30psi area. I will work with that a bit when I get the ex figured out, but I won't be very aggressive on the dyno as the main concern is getting the fuel curve set and figuring out what headers to run in the car for best performance.

Idiot for not buying bigger mufflers? The mufflers are 2.5 feet in diameter and 6 feet long with 8 inch inlet pipes. The problem it seems is the hp to drive the supercharger is higher than I anticipated. I am putting 250-300lbs an hour in that is just getting used up in the drive system. So right now the engine is producing around 19-2000hp but only 1650 is coming out!

btw that truck is one bad *****, saw that thing out in canada at john powell's shop (I don't know if you remember me, but I had the 444whp stock motor turbo swapped cobalt up there, one of the 2 black monsters lol).
