Radiator is mounted. Forgive my welding. Ive never mig welded before haha

This is a rough draft. Im going to take everything apart, repaint and make it pretty once I get it back from the body shop.

I modded both wastegates and the turbo port to accept pushlock fittings. Heres another rough draft of how they will be setup. Now I wont have to worry about lines getting old or expanding. These are good to 600psi.

Sorry for the lack of updates..just been busy working on the car but its running and on 6psi the car feels VERY strong.

Moved the start button to the left. Its bright as hell but at night you cannot see it because its hidden perfectly behind the light/blinker stalk.

I'm half retarded but shouldn't the lower line to the wastegate go to the compressor cover?

Well, you are correct if you are running just spring pressure. But with the solenoids thats how they are supposed to go. Don't mind the placement of the Solenoid. It looks like **** there and will be moved to a better spot once I clean everything up.

I run 4 solenoids on my setup and they are not like that. All of the variable boost setups I've done have the bottom of the wastegate to the compressor on the turbo to supply pressure to open the wastegate. The solenoid gets either CO2 or pressure from the compressor cover to supply to the top of the wastegate to control total boost based on the commanded value from the controller. A 2nd solenoid is added to relieve pressure in the line.

Is that a 4 port air valve or a 3 port air valve? 4 port would somewhat make sense.

Its a 4 port solenoid. One goes right to the bottom, the other to the top the 3rd to the compressor cover and the 4th vents to air. Im trying to get a picture from turbosmart to post the connection method but im having technical difficulties.

Well, its pretty simple, when the pressure on the bottom of the diaphram(manifold) exceeds the pressure on the top of the diaphram(spring + Co2 or manifold) the wastegate opens. Without knowing the internal configuration of the 4 port solenoid its tough to say how they have it. But its not rocket science how the wastegate works. When the pressure on the bottom of the diaphram exceeds the spring pressure it opens. When you add manifold pressure or Co2 ontop of the wastegate it makes it require more manifold pressure on the bottom of the diaphram to open.

So if you have a 10PSI spring in the wastegate and you set the controller to 20psi, as the manifold pressure increases, the solenoid is going to add the same amount of pressure ontop of the wastegate holding it closed until manifold pressure reaches 20psi than it will stop adding pressure. It will probably take 15-18psi of manifold pressure + 10# spring to make 20psi in most setups

Yeah I know how it all works. I just know that with the two 5.8lbs springs, the gates arent reacting fast enough. The second I hear them open the boost drops. Im not really sure what would cause a delay unless its just the time its taking for the air to fill both gates. I went down to 3# springs and im going to see what the spike is in first..im guessing it might spike to 5lbs or so and if thats the case ill just set the min. boost to hold steady at 5(which is what I want in 1st anyways). Im not really sure how a 4port works but they say with the 4port you can run a 5lbs spring up to 40lbs..so I dont see running these 3# springs to 20psi being a problem.

Got my 14" F/R brake kit today. Alls I can say is HOLY ****!!! The rotors are absolutely gigantic...my back calipers are bigger than my Brembo front calipers. I will post pics a little later but these things should completely fill my 18" rims.

These things are so damn big...hard to tell in pic but the disc is the size of a medium pizza.

Well, I ended up getting one of the four brakes done. I lost my lug key and had to buy a whole new set of lugs just for the key. I did the ARP 3" wheel studs and the caliper/rotor/stainless line..all in all it was pretty straight forward. My rims are RPF1 18x9.5 with a +18 offset (+38 with a 20mm spacer) and they fit perfect with absolutely no room to play. The top of the caliper has >1mm clearance but the face has more than the brembo. Im gonna finish them up tomorrow hopefully.

For some reason the calipers look the same size but they arent even close.
