F1a inlet

I have a problem. I can't seem to find any inlet tube in the odd F1A's 3.75" inlet size. To make matters worse, I need it in a 90 degree bend down to 3.5" or 3". I know BruteSpeed has that inlet hat that fits, but I think a 90 degree flow through reducer will flow better than that. Nobody makes a 90 degree 3" or 3.5" to 3.75" reducer so I'm stuck in a hard place.
My choices are very limited because I'm using the C5 front accessory drive and it puts the inlet of the blower close to the radiator (about 5"). If there are any ideas out there PLEASE feel free to jump in and help me out.
I've seen some guys on here with aluminum pipe hooked up to the front of their F1As in F-Bodies. How do they clamp them down to the front of the housing with that odd size inlet opening?![Icon Confused](https://ls1tech.com/forums/images/smilies2/icon_confused.gif)

Is there anybody out there with good aluminum welding skills that can hook me up something that fits?
This FI-EFI stuff is new territory for me; therefore I'm looking for all the help I can get.

If you have room, you could use a 3.75" to 3.0" silicone reducer to a 3.0" aluminum
90` sweep. As long as the air filter is big enough, you shouldn't have any problem with the silicone collasping.

The F-1A 3.75" inlet and 3.00" outlet is the same size as the P-1SC, D-1SC and F-1. Bob

I found that Intakehoses will custom make a 3" or 3.5" to 3.75" 90 degree reducer made with fiberglass reinforcement making it over twice as strong as the typical 4 ply silicone hose. So I thing I would'nt have to worry about it getting sucked in. I'm going to order one and see how it works for me.
