LS2/LS6 Cam Vs. Turbo Cam? How much diffrence?
Is there really a lot of power between the two cams? I know the LS2 cam is close to the LS6 cam. And the Ls6 cam is good for boost. But honestly how much power can be made in a good forced induction camshaft vs. a LS6/Ls2 cam? I've got a ls2 with a garret T76 Turbo and kinda would like more power. Maybe 317 heads and a cam+ boost and a better tune. Thanks

Yea just keep us posted. What are the specs do you know? Honestly I miss having a cammed car. Now that I have a turbo car it sounds stock w/ exhaust intill you put your foot in it.

The OVER SIMPLIFIED way to look at it is in NA terms. How much more power does a stock LS1 with a TR224 cam make than one with an LS6 cam? What ever that number is, you multiply it by 2 @ 15 psi. This generally applies until you get into a lobe overlap situation. Then back pressure starts coming into play and it gets more complicated.
Take my setup for example, I would probably have to run an extra 5 psi of boost if I ran an LS6 cam to run the number that I do with my Stage 2 Livernois cam. I dreamed up what I wanted and then started looking around to see who had something on the shelf similar to what I wanted. The Livernois was the closest.
