You won't have any problems running that much boost through an LS6 intake... They have been pushed way more than that.

Getting real sick of seeing threads about intake manifolds.

I guess the search function is so difficult to use.

Or maybe people are just too damn lazy

I can see the controversy over 40-50 hp but, arguing over 10-15 hp and the cost to achieve that is beyond me. Do a LS6 intake and be done. The heavy hitters who have deep pockets and need every last sqeeze of what they can get, damn right, get that part on the car. Otherwise, get to bed, we've got to clock in early tommorrow.

a number of people have made 1000rwhp+ with an LS6 intake and boost.

Put the money elsewhere for strength/reliability instead.

Or maybe the search feature blows. You can't search for LS6 or 16# or anything else that is only 3 characters like every late model GM engine, intake, or head designation. LOL

OP, you can put a shitload of boost to an LS6. It's a solid chunk of plastic. I'd say 40 psi wouldn't hurt it.

I'd think if you searched "intake" there would be more than enough answers to the same questions.

Yesterday I thought I cracked my LS6 intake, but after reading this I guess it's not possible to do at only 9-10psi?

MightyMouse just went 8.49@162mph+ with his on a built motor. Street car that runs back to back mid 8's consistently. I'd say they work

Anything is possible. But it is unlikely that boost pressure alone would damage the intake.

turned out it was just a pipe blowing away at 12 psi and then holding only 7psi so LS6 intake stays
