Default STS .67 rear mount going on 355 lt1, suggestions....

Currently my lt1 setup is a 355, gm hotcam kit 218/228 on port and polished heads that are milled to 54cc, port matched plenum, forged pistons on h beam rods to a stock crank. Hooker LT pro comps, 3" custom Y-pipe back.

Automatic Trans, and for now a standered 3.23 gear. Looking to put in a 3.73, upgrade to a 2400 stall and rebuild the trans internals eventually, maybe a shift kit while i do the stall, and eventually put in a six-point bar.

I've bought an upgraded sts setup .67 trim, roughly 4500 miles on it. Inner fender mounted intercooler, going to wrap everything that i can. I'm looking into 42# injectors, and doing either a single or twin walbro 255 intank setup.

Any help would be deeply appreciated, I know my compression is a little high (roughly 10.7:1) but i'm not looking to do a full out race car with 700+ rwhp. I want a nice streetable car that can make any mustang **** itself, eat cobra's and hold my own when i have to, while running between 6-8psi and not worrying about a thing.

loose the long tubes, 42# may be too small

Wouldn't the long tubes help for torque? And I was thinking the 42# might be on the small side, its just the price I could get them for was great

with the LTs, you'll loose exhaust velocity which spools the turbo.

thanks for the tips, now the trouble would be finding a set of stock manifolds and a stock y-pipe in good shape
