This was a hit! Is there any way you guys can make cog pullys that are the same width as the 8 rib pullys? It would be cool to be able to run a cog kit with just swapping out pullys, throw a cog belt on and tension it down. Can u guys machine anything like that?

You mean for a large cog belt or the narrower ones like the c5 vortech kits?

the narrower ones like the vette, i wouldnt think you would need the huge one for people like us with only 15 psi and still having slipping issues ya know. I know personially if it was available i would buy it at a decent price point. Somehow retro-fit the vortech pullies on a procharger with whatever belt size procharger uses but in the narrow cog belt. Follow me?

just looked and there 2.5" wide, same as the procharger ones. Wonder if you can take the procharger ones and machine the face down so its as wide as a 8 rib pully, like 1.5" wide?

In all honesty, I don't have a procharger bracket / belt drive here to set everything up on. It could be done with a narrower HTD belt drive setup. They make a 1" width belt

My car is still a little ways off from starting if u want a j-bracket / hardware to use for mock up? That 1" one would be killer!

Dude, a narrow COG setup would be pimptastic! I'd definitely be interested if the price wasnt outrageous! Great idea Taubr Unit

I would feel bad taking parts for mock-up and not knowing my timeline for getting it made. Really I would just need a crank pulley, a blower pulley and idler. All the mounting / internal bearing measurements of the pulleys would be the same...I would just add the HTD as the pulley drive face

Well I know the bearings in the idler are 6003's which are 17mm ID, 35mm OD, 10mm thick. I dont have either of the crank or head unit pullies here with me to measure for you because my car is in Dallas getting tuned, or i would..

i just ran outside and a 8 rib belt is 30mm wide, so just over 1" so the 1" cog belt would work perfect with 8 rib spacers.

According to the Gates website, their 8 rib belts are 1.087" or 28mm, so yeah a 1" would for sure work with the 8 rib sized pullies.

Yea, I had the same thought myself about the price. Tried looking for a used one with no luck, so I was finally able to talk my dad into having the machinist at his work make me a 2.5" pulley right before I took it to get tuned

Note the custom engraving he took the time to do as well
