Smile Twin Setup on 2003 silverado

hey guys...sorry im a little new to the forum, im sure you have been asked this many times, but i have some questions about my build and just wanted to see if i could get some specific answers about it...

heres what it is SO FAR:

2003 silverado 5.3, 100,000 miles
Twin frontmount Precision 6262's
Twin tial 44mm wastegates
Comp cam 212/218 115lsa
918 beehive springs
Hardened push rods
60# FAST injectors
Moroso high vol oil pump
Custom stainless headers
4' downpipe
Intercooled, mounted behind grill
Coastal performance built 4l60
Edge performance 3000 stall converter
Detroit locker
HP tuners tuned professionally
Daily driver only in summer
Waiting on few last parts to finish setup.. havent actually ran it yet
.................................................. .....................

heres my questions.

Being that i built most of the top end, whats a safe boostlevel?

Im looking for 500-550 hp, will i be able to safely get it out of the mods i made?

i kinda want to built the bottom end, say i did rods pistons and head bolts. what kind of boost could i run then?

Basically, i wanna know if the setup i have will be safe for 10-12psi? what power to expect? and what do i need to do to safely kick up the boost a little to maybe 15-18? i would really appreciate any help. ive heard a billion different answers and dont know what to believe. Thanks Guys!

I would think you can make your power goals at 10-12 psi. I think you could run 15 or so with a really good tune and good gas on the stock bottom end. If you had forged rods and pistons, good fuel and tune you could run up to around 20 psi before you start to have head sealing problems.

Advise like this is hard to give being that one failure or one wrong move somewhere can throw off everything said. That and there are always people who have ran more and less with and without problems.

I have a 05 stock 5.3l motor in my car now with head studs, cam, valvesprings and pushrods. It has been 117 in the 1/8 so far in a 3250 lb car at 14 psi.

A way to make it last is to minimize the rpm's that you turn.

yes you can make 500 with your setup, you should run an I/C. I would guess with the mods you listed maybe 700. Just a guess though.

Save yourself some time/$$$/headaches and start out with a 4L80E.
