Turbo feed and return lines
I'm about ready to fire up this turd 67 of mine and have the feed line plumbed... what size hole did you all drill to keep the oil flow to the turbo down? 1/8? smaller?
Also my last turbo setup was on a SBC in this car and I used parts store heater hose for the return. When I took it all apart the hose had goe soft on the inside. Any place I can get 1/2 or 5/8 oil friendly hose?
Getting anxious.........

not sure where you can get it but i used silicon hose, that heater hose didn seem like it would hold up well
you might try some 10an steel braded fuel line.
on the oil feed i wouldnt put a restriction in it
you should use a 3-4an line.
as long as your turbo isnt seeing more then 80psi of oil you should be ok.

My last turbo was a Turbonetics T70 with the ball bearing center and I ran a straight -4 line to it from the oil pump and destroyed the turbo. It was going to cost $1400 to fix the thing so I just bought a new turbo.
This new turbo snowballed ino this whole LS1 conversion... I just dont want the same thing to happen again. It was so embarrasing to drive the car with all the smoke coming from the exhaust I just left it in the garage. I only put 500 miles on the car with the turbo kit before dismantling it.
