Default S/c ls? C5

I have a 2000 Corvette FHT w/ a 6-speed manual.

I bought a centrifugal supercharger and long tube headers for my LS1. I'm going to run it with E85. I haven't installed anything yet.

I've read that the LS1 can have a lot of problems. Cylinder walls cracking, oil pumps failing, rotating assembly failing under boost...etc. If my LS1 poops out five years down the road, I want to have a plan for a replacement. Ideally, I'd want an LS9, but there is no way I would spend that kind of money.

This is what I would want:
1) keep the original slow engine controller currently in the C5
2) reuse the supercharger, injectors and headers on a different LS
3) lower compression ratio (somewhere around 9.5)
4) mild cam (probably stock)
5) keep cost down, complete salvage engine?, LS2?

Unsure about:
1) can I reuse the supercharger, injectors and headers on a different LS
2) what's the best way to lower compression ratio?
. . . a) thicker head gasket
. . . b) shorter connecting rods
. . . c) L92 heads
. . . d) low compression pistons
. . . e) all of the above?
. . . f) something else?
3) is a 2005 LS2 an easier swap than a later LS2, L92 or LS3?
4) how much PSI boost requires a forged rotating assembly (assuming 9.5 CR)
5) how much better is the LS2, L92 or LS3 block than the LS1?
6) what else should I consider?
7) is this the right direction or should I look at something different?
