Default 370 rods and pistons

what are decent rods and pistons to use building a boosted 370 stock crank motor. dont want to spend a ton but want something better than stock. i see alot use compstar but dont know how good they are and also to see what cc dish pistons would be good with stock 317 heads

Compstar rods and wiseco -11cc pistons here. Should be good for like 9.2 scr with your heads assuming they are not milled much.

OP callies rods are rated at 900 hp... im running exactly wat chad is wiseco -11cc dished pistons and callies rods... pistons gp diamond or wiseco ... rods callies or some people go eagle with 2000 arp bolts that are said to be good for 800hp.

Its a baby cam I reused from my 346, just 224/ 232 .581/.595 114+2... I'd like to upgrade to the EPP (brutespeed now) cam at some point. I think thatd be more on par for my current 370.

Yeah i just checked out ur thread build.. I wonder what cam i should run. i bet bob at brute speed would know.

i have weiseco -11cc pistons and eagle h-beams with L19 bolts. i have stock 317 heads and my comp is 9:1. i dynod 753whp on 16psi with BW ST80. seems to be working for me. if i were to do it again i would have done 9.5:1 comp. Callies was my prefered rod but $$ was an issue.

Check out Scat rods too, Im using their H beams and Manley pistons. I cant remember the cc.

Im using Wiseco turbo duty pistons and K-1 rods in my 370. I know they sell them as a pair on Wisecos site.

Diamond dished pistons and Scat rods on my 370 here. Been running for 40k miles now no issues over 650rwhp.
