Yea after reading many threads I'm sure I made the right choice. The only thing killing me now is the wait. I can't take it anymore!! LOL

What kind of lead time are they running? It's been 3 weeks since you posted coming soon. Soon to me is 2-3 business days.

They said it would be anywhere from 3-4 weeks, so it should be coming right on time. I guess your right it should have been in about a month. LOL

Going to pull the trigger on one of these 390's myself but with an ls2 block tomorrow! What about the LSA heads as an option? I hear they have a thicker than avg deck for a stock casting. Could be a bit of a savings to be had if so!

Those sound good and for the price you can beat it!! I went with the Trick Flow head cuz I'll be maxing out my D-1 and maybe next year upgrading to an F-1.

Hey Fraser how's the block coming along I'm ready to install the block can't wait!!

AES is doing my LSX long block for me as well. It will be a 410ci. I am waiting for Fraser to give me the ok to send him my AFR 225 head, shaft mounted voodoo roller rockers and valve spring kit. I cant wait so I know how you are feeling . After I get the motor, driveshaft and rearend here. I will start my build thread here.

I went with the c-series I've read they can handle a lot of power. It would have been nice to go with the dragon slayer but it starts to get pricey when you have to do other things like tranny and fuel system.. I'm going all out with the motor maxing out the D-1, and throwing some meth to see what kind of numbers I get out of the motor.

Not yet I'm eagerly awaiting though, Fraser said he would post some pics of the engine when he has a chance.

I got it a few weeks ago, its on a stand in my garage waiting for a Lonnies fuel system and my Alky Control. I just got back my rebuilt tranny from TDP. It's going to be a slow process but I should have it running hopefully by the beginning of summer..
