Even if you get a MAF that won't max out, your computer is limited on what it can read (assuming its a stock 4th gen fbody PCM). You should do it right and go SD.

Unless you want to deal with the headaches of scaling the IFR table (and then all the other tables too) I would do an SD tune.

If you think you can deal with scaling everything, I'd go with an Abaco MAF or put an LS7 card style MAF in the biggest possible tube (like 4" or maybe even larger) so it doesn't run into the Hz limit.

2.....1 for the meth injection, 1 for the PCM. Since your IAT is in your MAF sensor, you need to get a seperate one (you can buy an IAT pigtail and do it yourself, or buy the adapter harness that splits the MAF and IAT)

The factory PCM already has a MAP sensor in the intake manifold, it's not built into the MAF.

if your map is 2 bar and you set up your pcm 2bar with a custom os(hp or efi) , i don't see why you couldnt use the same map. provided it's 0-5v. btw i use sd and see no adverse behavior when weather changes etc. most guys that say it sucks have a crappy ve tune and the maf tune is covering it up.

are you sure on a 2005-06 gto there different.. the iat isnt in the tb like ls1s and the map sensor is inthe maf intake unit. where ls1s are in the rear of the manifold

Your confusing the IAT with the MAP. A MAP will ALWAYS be in the intake manifold somewhere, otherwise it can't read engine vacuum.
