Default All this activity and no timeslips?????

The FI section seems to be one of the liveliest on LS1tech yet nobody is posting up timing slips in the fastest list in the stickies. There has to be some new personal bests happening with the cold, dense air right now. I know that the northern states have gotten a bunch of snow but the southern tracks should be enjoying some good air. So, let's see em!!!

One of the problems with it is you get a lot of dreamers in this section. " I want to build this" "Im thinking about going FI..."..ect

Too much snow here, and it is very hard to get away from the shop for 4 days to go testing down south.

I'm still in the beginning stages of my build. It also seems like most of the heavy hitters in the FI-LSX world (shops and car owners) are in the midwest. That's a bad place to be right now haha.

All the tracks around my parts in Texas are closed because we are getting snow and really cold weather. There was supposed to be a test and tune at Dallas Raceway, but I dont think thats gonna happen with the few inches of snow we got today. Im definitely gonna be on that list once I get my **** tuned for the new injectors. Shootin for 9s with a stick!

**** everything is frozen down here!! The water pipes in my house froze over and I haven't had any water for the last two days, I doubt the tracks are in any condition to go out and get some runs!! End of times!! If anything I hope this freeze killed of all the scum in Juarez!!

Default We used the nice DA of 222ft a few weeks ago. (DFW,TX)

Here is what we did before the weather turned to ice/snow here in DFW.
--------------------------------------------------------------

First off, a big thank you to Santos (Silver Bullet C6) for allowing me to build him a nice setup and push it really hard.

I told him this is "The Little Blower That Could."

FYI: We realize there is always someone quicker/faster than you.

We think we got the CorvetteForum 1/4 & 1/8 Mile Record for Stock Internals LS3 with A6 and Power Adder.

-------------------------
Best Time on 1/22/2011
1.46 60ft
6.26@110mph
9.75@139mph
Track DA was 222 ft.

-------------------------
2008 Corvette A6
Stock LS3 shortblock
Stock heads
-----------------
A&A Si Trim S/C 6-rib with Flip Drive(no belt slip)
A&A Inline Fuel System
FIC Custom 90# Shortys
RR Ultra-Grip 3.00" Pulley
13# Boost
220/220 Cam
Kooks 1 3/4" Headers, 3" offroad X-pipe, Corsa Sports
Alky Control Dual nozzle Meth Injection: M3 Pre-blower, M15 Pre-T/B
RPM Built 3.42 Diff
Century Built A6
Yank 3200 Stall
Custom 18x11 Rear Rims 305/35/18 MT Drag Radials
GTO Front Skinnies w/ M&H Tires
Pfadt Inverted Sport Shocks (Adjusted for drag racing)
RMS 2 BAR SD Tuned
----------------

First run off the street it ran a 10.13@135

Then got faster every run as we dialed in the suspension and tune.
We ran 7 of 10 runs in the 9's. It was really consistent. Very quick and fun to drive.

--------------------------
2 nice photos from the pro-camera person at the track.

---------------------------

And of course the only proof we like to see. VIDEO!
