Question Help me plan my boosted LSx build

So, im going to go with either a 5.3 or 6.0 junkyard motor, which would be the better one for some boost? keep in mind its going to be gone through regardless of the condition its in.

try to keep the compression around 8.5:1 or 9:1

go with the 317 heads, maybe some mild porting, and a custom cam along with that.

and if i can get my hand on it, a super vic intake and some form of a 4bbl throttle body. if i can fine those at the right price, then ill stick with a LS1 or LS6 intake, whichever fits the budget.

This is all going to be done on a serious minded budget, its a street car, im lookin for about 600whp at minimum, cuz there is ALWAYS room for improvement!

Any information is helpful as always guys. thanks.

either or will work well, im also thinking about doing an LQ4 or LQ9 with like a T76 setup. You should acheive 600whp no problem with any turbo over 70mm

Stock lq4 6.0 @ 9.5 compression, turn the manifolds around, run 2.5 tubing
to modular's TO4e 70, blo-thru C&S carb or injectors to run E85, 12lbs boost
Enjoy your 600rwhp

Fueling would be a dual walbro fuel pump setup and at least 60lb injectors
