Thanks for all the nice words guys. We are building this car to try and take down all the exotics at the TX mile. The Ford GT's, Lambos, and Supras have been dominating for long enough.

Your totally right. In the USA there should not be foreign cars winning the races. Looking forward to seeing it run! Looks like you guys have some sort of rear diffuser setup? Definitly have to look at aerodynamics going 250 mph. Curious to see the front end on the car. Good luck!!!

When is she gonna be ready for testing? What turbo's are you running? Twin 88's? 91's? How much nitrous are you gonna spray? What is the estimated rwhp? Boost in the 30's? Must be 2000 rwhp or more? You shouldn't have a problem breaking 250 mph if you can stay on the ground which shouldn't be too hard.

Damn. I've always wanted to see a 4th gen so for a big number down there. I know 3rd gen Firebirds have been over 300mph on at Bonneville, so it'll be interesting to see how this does. Any reason you chose 4th gen over 3rd gen? I've heard the secret (beyond aero) is rpm in the mile...did you guys change the gear ratios in the tranny?
Maybe I missed another thread, considering this is #2...I'll go check.

With you guys (LMR) behind the build, I have no doubt the car will impress and dominate at the event just as pretty much everything that comes out of your shop does. Nice build and good luck out at the Texas Mile, keep us up to date when the time comes.
