STS updates?
as for the oiling system, thats what drives up the cost a bit, it itself is worth 500 bucks, and the turbo is designed specifically for the remote mount location, it wont work great up front nor will a tradional turbo work great in the back.
as for the availabilty, john peoples, the VP of STS has confirmed that there available now. rick has transfered a lot to his VP's so that may be causing some delays and confusions.
and what made you change your name cobra? did unit

My car is stock except for LS6 springs and a ported throttle body and at 5psi it makes 412/451; I got 29.7 mpg highway and the car drives just like it always has until you get on it. Anyone with questions, feel free to call me at

there is alot more to it than just getting pipe bent and slapping it on >>yeah? but what?.... alot of things??
you just want to sell the kit

As far some of the other things to consider if you are wanting to build it yourself;
The oiling system/ scavenging pump is a 2 speed pump. The pump runs on low until you hit 1psi, then goes to high. You have to have a switch for that and be able to wire it up. I know alot of you can do this, but there are alot more who cannot. The oiling system is also set up so that if there is a back up of pressure that hits 3psi, meaning there is a problem with your oil return there is an buzzer that goes off. As I mentioned before, there is a switch valve so that under boost you are not pumping boost through the pcv system.
The systems are well thought out and when you compare it to other systems, they are well worth the money.
I will be installing a system on a T.A. with some mods and lower compression and will be running about 9psi. We changed the housing so he will be able to carry boost past 6000rpms.
