Default Twin TC76's GTO

My turbos showed up today. A pair of ball bearing TC76's with ceramic coated housings courtesy of onfire. 68mm turbine wheels and .81 exhaust housings. I've got truck manifolds on the way here already. I'm going to emulate SOFAKINGGR8's build. I'm trying to decide if 38mm wastegates will work for 10psi and above or if I need 44's. My 403 is at the machine shop getting the machine work done and Clay Forrester of Forrester Racing Engines will be assembling it and building the turbo kit. I've also got the 2000hp rated Magnafuel pump waiting to go in. Air conditioning is retained. The stock GTO radiator needs to be leaned back a couple of inches to fit the charge pipe over it. Intercooler is the bigger of the two Treadstone's with a center top outlet.

Here's a couple pics of SOFAKINGGR8's build.

I'm not sure how hard I will be able to push it with stock casting heads. Hoping to be able to get 17-20psi safely. We will see how the LS9 head gaskets do.

I need to start picking out an intercooler for my twin 66mm turbo build in my '69 Nova. Would you happen to have the overall dimensions of that Treadstone that you plan to use?

I do live down a 1/4 mile dirt road. That's not my engine bay though. It's showing the car I'm copying.

the 38's should be able to keep you under 10 psi in that location provided that they are vented to atmosphere.

They will be going to atmosphere. I'll most likely get the new Tial MV-S v-band 38's.

I like the simplicity of that kit.

You can sort of see it in this pic. The radiator is leaned back a couple inches to allow the charge pipe to come up and over the top of it. I might be getting a radiator that is a couple inches shorter. Definitely cheaper just to lean it though.

I like the intercooler but hate the 450 price tag.

Look up CXracing on Google. I found that same cooler for half of the price. Description is almost identical.

Found it. http://www.cxracing.com/mm5/merchant...gory_Code=INCO

I'm also debating running no intercooler with E85 and meth injection.
